BACKGROUND:
|

|

|
I grew up in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and spent much of my youth roaming through the hills and woods of Tioga County.
I feel a strong connection to this region and will always consider the Northern Tier to be my true home.
After graduating from Wellsboro Area High School, I spent my first year in college at the Rochester Institute of Technology before transferring to Mansfield University, where I obtained a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice Administration in 2004.
After college, I was admitted to Widener University School of Law where I recieved a Juris Doctor degree in 2007.
I was also the 2007 recipient of Widener University School of Law's Outstanding Clinical Advocacy Award, a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and a Clinic Leader at the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic (a legal aid organization that provides free representation to low-income clients from the Harrisburg area).
I was also one of ten students in my law school graduating class who received special recognition for doing pro bono legal work while attending law school.
After graduation I was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar as a practicing attorney.
